The descendants of Al-Marhum Sultan Bararuddin Alam of Sulu is Princess Norma Piandao Anak binti Datu Jamasali she is the direct grand daughter of Sultan Bararuddin Alam older brother of Sultan Jamalul Alam II of Sulu (Abdicated and last sultan of Sulu)1906 both sons of Sultan Jalilul Hashim Alam of Brunei.
Sultan Jalilul Hashim Alam ordered his 2 sons to rule Sulu under his power/protectorate as Sultan of Brunei.
Brunei Museum recognized Princess Norma Piandao Anak binti Datu Jamasali as the only real princess of Sulu and cousin of the Sultan of brunei, She has a picture at the Brunei Museum as she was communicating and exchanging letters and pictures with Al Marhum Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin III father of Sultan Hji Hassanal Bolkiah. Sultan of Brunei recognized the JAMASALI as the true and bonafide blood relations of Sulu and Brunei Royal Family.
Tun Mustapha bin Datu harun (first governor of Sabah and ex-Chief Minister of Sabah)has also recognized Princess Norma Piandao Binti Datu Jamasali as his cousin as Tun Mustapha is also descened from Sultan Bararuddin Alam of Sulu who ruled Sabah and Sulu from Brunei Royal Family now at the Tun Mustapha gallery in KK and Kudat in Sabah (North Borneo) Princess Norma Jamasali has a picture there and the only royal blood in Sulu.
Tun Mustapha and Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin III and Princes Norma Piandao anak binti Datu Jamasali are cousins from the legitimate Sulu-Sabah-Brunei royal blood.
